Contentdrips SMC Pvt Ltd. (“Contentdrips“, “we“, “us“, or “our“) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you use:

  • Our web application at app.contentdrips.com
  • Our marketing website at contentdrips.com
  • Our Chrome browser extension
  • Any related products, APIs, embeds, or services we offer (collectively, the “Services“)

By using the Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information in the following categories:

2.1 Information you provide directly

  • Account information: name, email address, password (stored in hashed form), profile details, and team/workspace information.
  • Authentication data: if you sign in with Google OAuth, we receive basic profile information permitted by your Google account settings (such as name and email).
  • Content you create or upload: designs, posts, carousels, captions, brand assets, templates, ideas, schedules, and other materials you add to the platform.
  • AI inputs: prompts, URLs (e.g. blog, YouTube, TikTok links), and other text or files you submit to AI features.
  • Billing-related information: subscription plan and billing status. Payment card details are processed by our payment provider (Paddle) and are not stored by us.
  • Support communications: messages you send through our support channels, email, or in-app chat.
  • Marketing preferences: whether you subscribe to or unsubscribe from marketing emails.

2.2 Information from connected social accounts

If you connect Instagram, LinkedIn, or TikTok for publishing or scheduling, we receive and store information necessary to provide those features, such as:

  • Account identifiers and profile information (e.g. name, username, avatar, account type)
  • OAuth access tokens and related authorization data
  • Publishing status and metadata related to posts you schedule or publish through Contentdrips

We only request permissions needed to connect accounts and publish or schedule content on your behalf.

2.3 Information collected automatically

When you use the Services, we and our service providers may automatically collect:

  • Usage and product analytics: pages viewed, features used, clicks, events, session data, and performance metrics.
  • Device and browser data: IP address, browser type, operating system, device type, language, and referring URLs.
  • Log data: timestamps, error logs, and diagnostic information.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: as described in Section 8.

2.4 Chrome extension

If you use the Contentdrips Chrome extension, it may access information needed to integrate with your Contentdrips account and related workflows (such as authentication state and content you choose to send to the app). The extension operates in connection with the same account and data practices described in this policy.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use personal information to:

  • Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Services
  • Create and manage your account, workspaces, and team collaboration
  • Generate, edit, export, schedule, and publish content you request
  • Process AI-powered features (planning, writing, design suggestions, image generation, and similar tools)
  • Connect to and publish on Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and other integrated platforms at your direction
  • Process subscriptions and payments through Paddle
  • Send transactional emails (account verification, password reset, billing notices, service updates)
  • Send marketing emails where permitted, and honor unsubscribe requests
  • Provide customer support through tools such as Userscom
  • Analyze usage with PostHog and Google Analytics to improve product experience
  • Show in-app messages, onboarding, and surveys through tools such as TinyPopups
  • Protect against fraud, abuse, and security incidents
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms

We do not use your content to train our own AI models.

4. AI Processing

Contentdrips includes AI features that help you plan, write, and design content. When you use these features, your inputs (such as prompts, text, URLs, and uploaded files) may be sent to third-party AI providers to generate outputs for you.

We currently use providers including:

  • OpenAI
  • OpenRouter
  • Google Gemini

These providers process data on our behalf to deliver AI functionality. We configure our use of these services for inference and feature delivery, not for training models on your content.

Please do not submit sensitive personal information (such as government IDs, health data, or financial account numbers) into AI features unless you are comfortable with it being processed by these providers under their respective terms and privacy policies.

5. Social Media Publishing

When you connect Instagram, LinkedIn, or TikTok:

  • You authorize Contentdrips to access and use your connected account credentials (including OAuth tokens) solely to provide publishing, scheduling, and related features you request.
  • We store these tokens securely on our servers.
  • When you disconnect an account or delete your Contentdrips account, we delete associated tokens and connection data.
  • Published content is subject to each platform’s own terms and privacy policies. Contentdrips does not control how Meta, LinkedIn, or TikTok handle data on their platforms.

You can manage or disconnect social accounts at any time from your account settings.

6. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share information with:

  • Detect, prevent, or address fraud, security, or technical issues
  • Protect the rights, property, or safety of Contentdrips, our users, or the public

6.3 Business transfers

If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you where required by law.

6.4 With your consent

We may share information for other purposes with your explicit consent.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary to provide the Services and for legitimate business purposes, unless a longer period is required by law.

  • Active accounts: we retain account and content data while your account is active.
  • Deleted accounts: when you delete your account, we delete your personal data and associated content immediately, subject only to limited backups or logs that may persist briefly for security, fraud prevention, or legal compliance before being purged.
  • Disconnected social accounts: OAuth tokens and connection data are deleted when you disconnect.
  • Analytics data: aggregated or de-identified analytics may be retained longer for product improvement.
  • Billing records: certain payment and invoice records may be retained as required for accounting, tax, or legal obligations.

8. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We and our partners use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies on the marketing site and app to:

  • Keep you signed in and maintain session state
  • Remember preferences
  • Measure traffic and usage (PostHog, Google Analytics)
  • Support marketing, onboarding, and support tools (TinyPopups, Userscom)

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect some functionality. Where required by law, we will provide cookie consent options.

9. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including access controls, encryption in transit, and secure infrastructure on AWS.

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we work to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity under your account.

10. International Data Transfers

Contentdrips is based in Pakistan and uses service providers that may process data in Pakistan, the United States, the European Union, and other countries.

Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers, such as standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms offered by our providers.

11. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights including:

  • Access — request a copy of personal information we hold about you
  • Correction — request correction of inaccurate information
  • Deletion — request deletion of your account and personal data
  • Portability — request a copy of your data in a portable format where applicable
  • Objection / restriction — object to or restrict certain processing
  • Withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent
  • Marketing opt-out — unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time via the link in our emails or by contacting us

Account deletion

You can delete your account from within the app. Deletion removes your account data immediately as described in Section 7.

Exercising your rights

Email privacy@contentdrips.com with your request. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

Additional rights for certain regions

  • EEA / UK (GDPR): you may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
  • California (CCPA/CPRA): you may have rights to know, delete, and opt out of certain sharing. We do not sell personal information.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.

12. Children’s Privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

If you are between 13 and the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use the Services only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.

13. Third-Party Links and Services

The Services may link to third-party websites, platforms, or services (including social networks and AI providers). Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. We are not responsible for third-party sites or services.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top and, where appropriate, notify you by email or through the Services.

Your continued use of the Services after changes become effective means you accept the updated policy.
